Together, Klaus Schaffer from EDI Service &amp; E-Invoicing Partners Avenum and Gerald Six from PCS Solutions provided insights into current developments in electronic invoicing and showed how companies can prepare for upcoming requirements.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:17px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">From European developments to practical implementation<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"has-small-plus-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/>While mandatory B2B e-invoicing is already a reality in some European countries, others are currently in the process of introducing or preparing their systems. These different approaches also highlight the practical challenges that can arise and the aspects companies should consider at an early stage.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-small-plus-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Klaus Schaffer shared insights from EDI and e-invoicing projects as well as experience from various European markets. Key questions included:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-small-plus-font-size\">\n<li>How is e-invoicing developing across Europe?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What can be learned from countries where e-invoicing has already been introduced?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What do European developments mean for Austrian companies?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What should companies pay particular attention to when preparing for and implementing e-invoicing?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"has-small-plus-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">One thing became clear: e-invoicing is about much more than simply introducing a new invoice format. For processes to work effectively in the long term, data, interfaces, systems, and business partners all need to work together.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:17px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong><strong>E-invoicing directly from TradeControl<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"has-small-plus-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Gerald Six demonstrated what practical implementation can look like using TradeControl. By connecting TradeControl to the EDI Service provided by EDI Service &amp; E-Invoicing Partners Avenum, invoice data can be exchanged automatically between the systems and business partners involved. This allows e-invoicing to be integrated into existing processes without creating additional manual steps.
