Two events are particularly important in this regard: SICAM 2026 in Pordenone and the Global Summit Logistics & Manufacturing at Lake Garda in November.
SICAM 2026: Connecting with the furniture industry
From October 20 to 23, SICAM took place in Pordenone, an international trade fair for components, semi-finished products, and accessories for the furniture industry.
The event brought together companies and industry professionals from different countries, providing an opportunity to discuss current industry developments and establish new contacts. We particularly valued the conversations about how far companies have progressed in digitalizing their business processes and what they expect from their business partners.
The furniture industry in particular demonstrates the importance of seamless collaboration between manufacturers, suppliers, and retailers. Different IT systems, numerous business partners, and complex supply chains place high demands on the flow of information. Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) enables the automated exchange of orders, order confirmations, despatch advices, and invoices, efficiently connecting business processes across companies.
Next stop: Global Summit Logistics & Manufacturing 2026
On November 25 and 26, 2026, we will be attending the Global Summit Logistics & Manufacturing at Hotel Parchi del Garda in Lazise. We will have our own Business Point at the event on both days.
The event brings together companies from logistics, industry, and manufacturing. Pre-arranged meetings, expert presentations, and networking opportunities provide a platform to discuss current challenges and explore new perspectives.
We will be representing EDI Service & E-Invoicing Partners and look forward to conversations about business process automation, electronic integration of customers and suppliers, and international e-invoicing.
